We offer cat sitting, dog sitting, dog walking, care for rabbits, chickens, rats, fish and more.
Another busy day!
I met with Dr. Sue Chan of the CETA Foundation to discuss ways that CETA and Chako could work together. It was a good meeting and I really like Dr. Chan’s views on the need to promote responsible pet ownership through education, outreach, and advocacy. (sound familiar?)
After that, I went to the Sacramento City Shelter to work with our CGC candidates, Penelope, Paisley, and Coconut. Coconut is our newest recruit and she is a lot of fun and definitely a challenge! I hope they all find wonderful homes – we’ve been lucky thus far; 3 dogs that were in our program have already been adopted and Penelope has an adoption hold.
Next, I headed on over to walk my Georgia. Sadly, my phone completely died on me so I have no pictures of her beautiful smiling face. We had a nice brisk walk though, it was pretty hot but nothing we couldn’t handle.
