As we were trying to drag ourselves out of bed to go to the UC Davis Picnic Day, we got a text from Boone’s foster mom saying that he needed a walk since he wouldn’t poo this morning, and since the Pit Bull Kissing Booth at Picnic Day was already fully staffed with CHAKO volunteers, we decided a visit with Boone sounded like the perfect way to start our midday. Bear in mind, we woke up at 5:30 to take care of Tobe!
We did our normal jaunt through the tree lined streets of Boone’s neighborhood, then we hopped in the car to visit Western Feed and Pet Supply. Of course, Boone found himself a yummy treat and decided to plop right down in the middle of the store and start eating it. But Boone, why the $10 chew? Why not a nice 50 cent biscuit? *sigh* Of course, as I go to pay for Boone’s chew, I felt guilty for not getting my dog one too, so there went that money, lol.
The store staff and the cat adoption volunteers thought Boone was just sweet as can be, naturally.
