I went to the City of Sacramento Citizen’s Advisory Committee Meeting tonight and I can’t say that I’m happy with what I’ve learned. The pictures speak for themselves. Please write/call/email City Council and plead with them to give City shelter more funding.
We were advised that these numbers are approximate but even with that in mind, this is truly heartbreaking. Of the 12,236 animals that came into the shelter this year, 8,108 did not make it out alive.
