Okay, first of all…I CAN SEE AGAIN!!! That’s right folks, I finally have new glasses!
It’s so nice to be able to see edges, I cannot believe I went this long without being able to truly see.
Another bonus: all my clients have gotten cuter, as if that were even possible!
Georgia and I, loving this weather, walked atop the levee. A great thing about eyesight – the river looks even more beautiful!
Now if only the entire summer could be like today.
Next, I go to check on Mr. Jax. He isn’t waiting for me at the door. Odd. I walk around back and start calling for him. Stop calling, listen. No Jax. Call again, listen. No Jax. Call again, listen. Still nothing. Finally I decide to change out the water. Then I go inside and start looking through all the windows in the house, hoping that maybe he is on the side of the house that I can’t see. No Jax. I’m starting to worry here, so I head out of the backyard and start making my way for the alley. I’m getting scared. I look over to my right…and Jax has been sleeping under the porch swing the whole time. I gave him a stern talking to started petting him and told him that it’s not nice to make the sitter go insane with worry. He looks at me and says, “U R ALREADY CRAZY, LADY. IM JUS RELAXIN HER AN U GO AN RUIN IT WIF ALL OV UR YELLIN.”
I even got to visit with Sam today. *Reunited and it feels so gooood* When I first walked in, he was a bit suspicious but then he started sniffing and he saw the harness and I could almost see the lightbulb above his head click on. I’m such a sappy dork, I actually started crying when I realized that he remembered me. Don’t laugh, Sam is an awesome dog! Of course I had to spend some extra time snuggling him and telling him how much I have missed him. Then I fed him dinner and we went for a nice walk around the park. I love seeing old friends!
