We offer cat sitting, dog sitting, dog walking, care for rabbits, chickens, rats, fish and more.
I started my day off with a trip to Pit Crew’s home base to return Calvin from my second round of sub-fostering. He has grown so much! Not only is he absolutely preciously cute, but his temperament is the stuff of dreams. He’s smart, eager to please, easily redirected, and has a perfect mix of independence and cuddliness. He also gets along great with cats and other dogs. The complete package, this little guy!
After bidding Mr. Calvin a fond farewell, I headed on over to Bo. We had a nice little walk and he is feeling much better, with no fresh accidents in the house. Later today we even played ball. Well, he fetched the ball three times.
I then went to see Georgia. Since she needs a ton more work on her jumping, I took her to the park on a long line and worked on getting her to sit for petting. She is making progress, but there is lots more to do with this very active girl. We are going to try running her at least once a week to see if that helps.
Next was my time at City Shelter Animal Services to work with Cecelia, our lone CGC Shelter Dog Program candidate there right now. I think Cecelia even made a new friend in the exercise yard. If you are interested in adopting Cecelia, please visit the CGC Shelter Dog’s Facebook Fanpage here.
I was very proud of Chanel today. Not only did she not bark at me, but she even went potty on our walk – 1 & 2! Funny thing, she peed …. right in the middle of the street! I haven’t had a dog do that yet, but I’m learning quickly there is a first time for everything! Of course, when I first arrived, Chanel was a bit apprehensive but she eventually came over and let me pet her and put her collar and lead on and then we were off. I’m looking forward to our next walk!
Last but not least, Roman and Jake are snoozing fitfully after a day of running and playing in the yard. It was a bit cold, but not raining today and the sun was out – a nice change from the dreariness!
