I just realized that I will likely live to see 10/12/13. Pretty cool, don’t you think?
I’m pretty bummed that I have misplaced my trusty martingale collar. I’ve looked everywhere! Good thing I keep backups on me.
Georgia and I had one of our levee walks. A woman was jogging by with a beautiful Australian Cattle Dog mix and Georgia practiced trying to remain calm. She didn’t do so well the first time, but did show improvement on subsequent passes of the other dog.
Cecelia is still at City shelter. I really hope she finds a home soon. She is such a sweet loving girl and she is so well behaved already. I wasn’t able to get any pictures this time around, but we did take her out for a walk outside of the shelter which she really liked. She did great on the leash. We also spent some time checking out a new pup at the shelter. He is only 3 months old and an absolute cuddly little doll baby. He doesn’t have a name yet, but his id# is A360637 if you are interested in adopting him (and who wouldn’t be!) There is also a Staffordshire Bull Terrier there, she has an injured ear. She kept fussing it so I notified staff so they could check it out. Turns out she removed the drain that was in her ear herself and they decided that it was healed enough to let her be. She’s awfully cute, if she is still there next time, we’ll try to make time to work with her.
Jersey and I had a nice walk in her new neighborhood. It was a little shorter than I wanted because Ms. Izzy had to go and eat a bunch of grass and then un-eat the grass, if you catch my drift. Regan of course had to run over to see what was going on, ewwww! Everyone had treats after Jersey’s walk, but I couldn’t get Jersey off the couch! Next time, she’s wearing the leash until she is back in her room.
Chanel did wonderfully today, and she even peed on the grass this time! She is getting so much more relaxed and spent a good amount of time just enjoying the walk and sniffing around.
Jake and Roman are settling back in and spent most of the day playing outside. I will work on getting some pictures tomorrow.
