We offer cat sitting, dog sitting, dog walking, care for rabbits, chickens, rats, fish and more.
Jax met me at the door, as usual. His bedroom door was shut, but when Whitney and I came back, he was curled in a ball on the bed. Guess shut doors mean nothing to Jax 🙂 not that I’m surprised in the least.
Smoke went on the walk today, of course Whitney loved that. (note: Whitney’s owners are aware and approve of Smoke going on walks with Whitney )
Whitney has a pretty high prey drive, she is always trying to catch birds and squirrels that we see on our walks. Today, there was a pigeon hanging out on the front lawn of an apartment complex. Whitney got *this* close but the pigeon flew off. Of course, she jumped up in the air after him. I like her attitude, she really thinks she will get those birds one day, if only she keeps trying. If she whimpers in her sleep, I’m willing to bet it’s because she’s chasing birds.
The neighbors around the corner have some really pretty flowers right now, so I thought I’d snap a pic. We also visited the super-cool art house off of 22nd. I used to ride my bike down to this house when I was a kid, just to look at the mural.
All in all, another beautiful day (despite the wind factor) for a walk. It was pretty warm and I regretted wearing sweat pants but Whitney is now a pro in walking in all kinds of weather and she takes everything in stride anyway. She is a bit peeved at me for tying poo bags to her harness, I told her I won’t do that anymore, mustn’t upset the princess =)
