Well, folks, it finally happened. Much to my huge embarrassment, I fell when on a dogwalk. I was trotting Georgia along at a faster clip than normal and I left too much slack in the leash and she decided to cross right in front of me and a tumblin’ I did go.
*waits for laughter to die down*
I scraped my knee, elbow, and both palms. And boy, oh boy, am I sore tonight!
But alas, such are the hazards of this wonderful profession =)
We continued on, Georgia trying to hold in her chuckles. Much to her further delight, the squirrels were en masse, rooting around for their winter buried treasures. Thankfully, I managed to remain upright for the duration.
