Boy, how I missed my Georgia! We had a levee walk and joy-of-joys, her stays are so great now, I can finally show you how lovely she looks against the backdrop of the river. She’s always been such a sweet girl, and now her manners are starting to match up with her intentions, a lovely combo, indeed.

Whitney and I traipsed along as we do. We walked by a fence with a HUGE black cat sleeping along the bottom, almost hanging out of the fence. I had to stop and stare because I had never seen a cat so big … until it started barking. Ooops!  Whitney tried to make friends with a real cat a few blocks down but it poofed up big and ran off. Poor Whit was heartbroken.

I also had the opportunity to walk Charlotte. She’s such a pretty girl, isn’t she? She saw some squirrels and jumped at a loud noise after a landscaper dropped some equipment, but other than that, it was smooth sailing.

Ryce walked close by 3 different people and did not bark, yay! You may be wondering why I have such an odd picture of him, notice that he is walking on his flat collar – and the leash is loose. I noticed he hasn’t been pulling for some time now so I thought I would give it a try and low and behold, there is he is, walking on a slack leash with just the flat collar. Quite possibly a fluke, but I’ll be proud of him nonetheless.

A neighbor gave me a harness a few days ago, she said it was for a little dog. I hadn’t paid much attention to it until today when I noticed that it is actually a Halti. I tried it on Broly. He said, “Yeah, no.” So I put the harness back on and we went on a late night prowl with lots of cats running around, much to Broly’s delight.
