So Casper almost gave me a heart attack today! Every day I’ve been over, both cats have been waiting for me to feed them. Well, Casper was no where to be found. I looked high and low, I went outside calling for him and searching the street. Squirrel was loudly demanding that I suspend my search and feed her, so I filled both bowls, including the water. Then I went upstairs to fill the water up there. As I’m walking toward the master bathroom, I hear a loud wail outside, and it sounded pained. I start yelling for Casper, and he answers back so I run down the stairs (almost tripping) and fly out the front door, only to see a perfectly healthy Casper casually strutting up the walkway. I scooped him up and gave him hugs and kisses and told him that it is not nice to frighten the pet sitter like that! Bonus: Squirrel greeted me at the door for pets!
Mr. Bean played with his coconut and rope toy outside. He also barked at the neighbors and made a racetrack around the patio furniture.
Georgia spent some time investigating ground squirrel holes. I don’t know what’s been going on over there, but the holes are getting bigger and bigger!
